His position covers sales, marketing and development of all Lola Cars' products, including LMP, single seaters, World Junior Car, Heritage, race and road cars development and partnerships as well as cars related composites in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Robin Brundle, Managing Director of Lola Cars, said: “Ben has enjoyed two and half very successful years with the team here at Lola and we all look forward to working with him in this very prestigious and important job role within the company."
Ben Bourdaire said of the appointment: “For many years I have admired the level of success that Lola products have achieved. I now intend to carry on with my own contribution to the Lola team, our customers, business partners and the governing bodies. It is a rare chance to sell, promote and develop such outstanding products and be part of what is Motorsport history."
In its 53rd year of business, Lola is one of the longest established and most successful constructors of racing cars in the world, keeping itself at the forefront of design and technology by investing in commercially available state-of-the-art facilities including Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis, a 50% scale wind tunnel and a 7 post aerodynamic suspension and chassis set up rig.
